Sunday, November 9
10:00 AM - The Kensington Project is a non-profit organization that supports people affected by the opioid crisis in Philadelphia’s Kensington neighborhood. 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM - The Undercroft
The African Episcopal Church of St. Thomas - All are welcome to enjoy a light brunch and the opportunity for stimulating conversation. We will read together and share reflections on Anne Snyder’s essay “Quo Vadis? The Struggle to Live in Truth Today.” Print copies will be available, as will copies of companion essays from the journal, Comment: Public Theology for the Common Good. The welcome will be warm; the coffee will be hot.

Inspired by OPC’s 2025 Advent devotional, Heaven’s Earthly Life: Wendell Berry and the Poetry of Advent, this seasonal retreat will be held at the home of Janie Martin. All materials will be provided; RSVP to Janie by November 12.

The African Episcopal Church of St. Thomas - Living into the belief that every day brings abundant opportunities for thanksgiving, the theme of the November Café is Friendsgiving: Sharing and Inspiring Gratitude. Please join us for good-spirited fellowship, a fine lunch buffet and an inspiring peer-led program. All attendees are encouraged to bring canned or packaged food items for distribution to our area food banks. RPM is a mutual ministry of OPC and the African Episcopal Church of St. Thomas; there is no cost to participate. RSVPs are appreciated. Please respond to Pat Dillon.

8:00 to 10:00 PM - OPC has an incredible opportunity to participate in a Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) MobilePack event. Volunteers pack meals made of rice, soy, and dehydrated veggies. There is a MobilePack event happening in Haddonfield, NJ and we have reserved a space for a team of eight. If you would like to participate, please contact Becky.
- Contemplative Dinner for Families
Tuesday, November 25
5:30 to 7:00 PM - Once a month, children, parents, caregivers, and friends gather on the lower level of Overbrook to share food, share conversation, and open space for the Spirit to move among us. All who would like to eat and pray are welcome to join. Please contact Anthony Carrella and Molly Burke in advance of the evening so they can accommodate you properly.
