The members and staff of Overbrook Presbyterian Church and Overbrook Pre-School are determined to provide a safe and secure environment for preschoolers, children, youth and mentally handicapped persons entrusted to our care. This determination reflects a spiritual commitment to nurture preschoolers, children and youth and their families in their relationships with God and one another.

The Session and Trustees of Overbrook Presbyterian Church has adopted a formal policy for the protection of our preschoolers, children and youth and to provide guidance for our employees and volunteers.

In accordance with this policy, those volunteering to work with children are subject to a screening process, which may include a check of criminal records and child abuse records. We hope that you will understand the necessity for this policy and be willing to cooperate with it.
