Legacies

Bequests to Overbrook Presbyterian Church may be made in wills, and may be designated for specific purposes or may be undesignated. Undesignated bequests will be used at the discretion of the Session, depending upon the size of the bequest, the interest of the donor, and the needs of the church.

Annuities

Overbrook may be designated as the beneficiary of an annuity upon the death of the annuity holder. An annuity is a sum of money placed with an non-profit institution, such as the Presbyterian Foundation, which provides regular income to the holder during their lifetime. Upon the death of the holder, the full sum is paid to the designated beneficiary.

As with legacies, such bequests may be designated or, if undesignated, will be used at the discretion of the Session.
