HOW TO GIVE |
||||
|
Gifts to Overbrook may be made by many different means. To ensure that your gift is properly handled and that you receive a suitable acknowledgment, please consult the guidelines below. Checks Checks should be made out to "Overbrook Presbyterian Church". Any designation should be made in the memo line in the lower left corner. Checks in payment of pledges should be designated "Pledge" or "Annual Budget". Checks may be placed in the offering plate or mailed to the church office. Electronic Transfers We can receive funds by electronic transfer. Please consult the Financial Secretary, Mary VandenBerge, for information about establishing such transfers. Gifts of Securities We accept gifts of securities, either in payment of pledges or as special-purpose gifts. Stocks may be given to the church directly or through charitable gift trust accounts available at some financial institutions such as, for example, Fidelity or Vanguard. Please consult the Church Treasurer, Steve Higgins, for more information about making a gift of securities. Annuities and Legacies Legacies or bequests may be made to the church in a will. Annuities may also be used as a gift instrument. We would appreciate being notified if you have made a bequest to the church in your will or have designated Overbrook as the beneficiary of an annuity. Please see the Presbyterian Foundation web site for more information on annuities, or contact the local representative:
