Each year, the Session of Overbrook Presbyterian Church prepares and approves an Annual Budget, based on anticipated receipts and expenses. The Annual Budget covers the routine operating expenses of the church. In addition, ten percent of each year's Annual Budget is used for Mission and Outreach.

Monies received from annual pledges, the offering plate and any other undesignated sources, as well as the Christmas and Easter offerings and income from the General Endowment Fund, are used to fund the Annual Budget. Some of the regular expenses paid from the Annual Budget include:

l Salaries and benefits, including medical insurance, for the Pastor and the church staff
l Christian Education expenses: curriculum, activities
l Music Program expenses: music for choirs, maintenance of the organ and pianos, substitute musicians
l Utilities: electricity, heating oil, water, telephone
l Maintenance of the building and grounds: routine repairs, painting, grass cutting, snow removal
l Office supplies and expenses: preparing and mailing the newsletter; preparing the Sunday bulletin
l Guest preachers and other special speakers or programs
